Bachelor of Arts in Business Management
The study and training program for the Bachelor of Arts in Business Management is designed as a sandwich program, with regular intervals of practical training in the company (12-14 weeks each/semester) and studies of theory at the “Nordakademie AG” in Elmshorn (10 weeks/semester).
This particularly efficient form of dual education makes it possible for you to obtain the internationally recognized degree of Bachelor of Arts in Business Management after just 3 1/2 years (seven semesters). At the same time, you have the opportunity to gather valuable practical experience (two years) during the course of job training at E.C.H. Will.

| Length of training program: | 3 ½ years (7 semesters) The degree includes a Bachelor thesis. The topic is selected on the basis of actual practical work in the company. |
| Training program: | Job training in the company takes place in all the administration and commercial departments as well as in a number of technical departments. This is designed to give students insight into how the business works and to teach them efficient working methods. |

| Study subjects | During basic studies (semesters 1-4), students attend lectures in the following subjects: business management, computer science and foreign languages Later (semesters 5-7), students will have the opportunity to choose from a range of special elective courses in addition to business sciences. Personality training and work on a joint research project round out the study program. |
| Jobs | Depending on what they specialized in during their studies, commercial employees can find jobs in the fields of Controlling, Marketing, Logistics, Purchasing, HR, IT/Business Process Management and Sales. After successfully completing the study program, graduates usually go on to find employment first as clerks or assistants. After a relatively short period, however, they will find chances to advance quickly in their careers and have the opportunity to assume responsibility for their own departments or take on other leadership positions. |
